Our Justice, Messaging Terms and Conditions (Updated 2/20/2024)

Our Justice is dedicated to ensuring that all people have adequate resources and access to abortion care and advocating for policy change consistent with that mission.

Our Justice messages will be delivered to your mobile device after you opt-in. Messaging and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies and may include up to three (3) initial outreach messages per month. If you have any questions about the pricing or terms of your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider. By completing the opt-in, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any other applicable terms and agreements. By agreeing to the Terms & Conditions and providing us with your mobile phone number when you opt-in, you authorize Our Justice to contact you by text message at your mobile phone number using an automatic telephone dialing system or device, or any other computer-assisted technology as applicable.

Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party.

Reply HELP or email contact@ourjustice.net for help. Reply STOP to opt out of messages at any time. We will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive messages from us. If you wish to join again, please complete the opt-in again or email us at the email address above.

Our Justice may revise, modify, or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.  Any such revision, modification, or amendment shall take effect when it is posted to ourjustice.net.  You agree to review these Terms & Conditions periodically to ensure that you are aware of any changes.  By not opting out of receiving messages, you agree to accept any such revision, modification, or amendment.

You represent that you are the account holder for the mobile telephone number(s) that you provide or that you have the account holder's permission to enter the mobile telephone number(s) that you provide. You agree to notify Our Justice in writing immediately if you change, or cease being the regular user of, your mobile telephone number. You agree to indemnify Our Justice in full for all claims, expenses, losses, liability, damages, fines, penalties and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, related to or caused in whole or in part by your failure to notify Our Justice if you change, or cease being the regular user of, your telephone number including, but not limited to, all claims, expenses, losses, liability, damages, fines, penalties and costs related to or arising under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, 47 U.S.C. § 227 et seq or any similar state law.

If any term of these Terms & Conditions is to any extent invalid or otherwise incapable of being enforced, such term shall be excluded to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability; all other terms hereof shall remain in full force and effect; and, to the extent permitted and possible, the invalid or unenforceable term shall be deemed replaced by a term that is valid and enforceable and that comes closest to expressing the intention of such invalid or unenforceable term. Our Justice reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, all of any part of the Our Justice’s text messages, for any reason, with or without notice to you.

Neither Our Justice nor your carrier is liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the Personal Information you provide to us. We collect Personal Information from you only if you voluntarily submit such information to us. You always have the option to not supply Personal Information.  If you choose not to provide Personal Information, it may prevent you from obtaining access to all the features and services we provide through our website, email, text, or other electronic communications.

You can set your mobile device or computer browser to refuse all or some cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies or block the use of other tracking technologies, some parts of the Platform may then be inaccessible or not function properly.

We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way.

Accessing and Correcting Your Personal Information

You can review and change your Personal Information of other information your have provided us by logging into the Platform and visiting your account profile page.

You may also send us a request to delete your data at any time by sending an email to info@ourjustice.net Upon receiving a valid request, we will securely delete the data within 30 days.

Proper access and use of information provided by you is governed by our terms of use (see above).

Data Security

We take data security seriously. We have implemented measures designed to secure your Personal Information, login information, and other data from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All data is stored securely with access restricted to authorized individuals. Regular security audits are conducted to ensure the protection of data. Sensitive and private data exchange occurs over a “Secure Lockets Layer” (SSL) secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures. We retain data as needed to provide you with the relevant services and as required by law. Upon reaching the end of the retention period, data will be securely deleted from all storage mediums.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the website like message boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of our website.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet and mobile platforms is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information. Any transmission of Personal Information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures we provide.
